This survey is being conducted by the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC), a grouping of ASEAN's prominent business people, to collate business views on the competitiveness of the ASEAN region for trade and investments and the importance of ASEAN policy measures to deepen economic integration on business operations.

Why Your Views Matter?

The 2011 ASEAN-BAC Survey on ASEAN Competitiveness will be presented to the ASEAN Leaders and the ASEAN Economic Ministers of the ASEAN Summit in November 2011 in Bali, Indonesia.

ASEAN has set a goal to form an ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) by 2015, which will establish ASEAN as a single market and production base. The views of the business community in ASEAN gathered through the 2011 Survey would assist policy makers to prioritize policy measures that would enhance the region's competitiveness and facilitate the conduct of business.

It is for this reason that the ASEAN SME Working Group (ASEAN SMEWG), of which the Philippines is represented by our Bureau is supporting the conduct of the survey.

Please be assured that all data collected for the survey will be kept strictly confidential and will be exclusively used for the purpose of studying the competitiveness of the ASEAN regi├│n for trade and investments.
